What does the Foundation of Contemporary Memory do?

• It collects testimonies on Jewish life in Belgium, in a scientific way, with the idea of accumulating sources for researchers and young generations to study and understand the past.
• It publishes an annual review, the Cahiers de la Mémoire contemporaine, scientific or general public works (on anti-Semitism, on the retirement home L'Heureux séjour, for example) and working tools (guide, inventories).
• It offers access to targeted documentation thanks to its library, its photo library, its biographical files, its "Places of Memory" database and its archive collections (particularly oral).
• It offers institutions and individuals (teachers, students, researchers, families) scientific advice thanks to its expertise on the whole history of the Jews of Belgium
